About Us
The Navasota Economic Development Corporation (NEDC) advises the City Council with respect to promoting economic development in the city through expansion of existing businesses, as well as bringing new businesses into the Navasota area. The NEDC is Type B and consists of seven members who serve two-year terms. The NEDC meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Navasota City Hall, Meeting Room 200 at 12:15 p.m.

We accomplish this by helping new and existing businesses get the information, resources, and financial incentives they need to meet their development goals.
